i've been re-inspired to finish it-already! taking it slow because i really like it, trying to come up with ideas for a background, or perhaps no background at all. i definitely want to keep that part simple. because there's going to be a lot of intricate pen and ink detailing around the figure and maybe more on the car. trying to hold back on pen and ink because it's too easy.
here are some inspiration ideas:
i didn't realize they're all skate pictures! i guess i like that high horizon. i'm pretty sure that i want some sky in there. a real nice cerulean blue maybe even watercolor ink.reminds me of the triad buick special '65 homage i did of Emily back in freshmen or sophomore year...
dang i was painting her too small. oh please art gawds-don't make me paint over 9" x 11"!!!!
